Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all well.

Some of you may remember that I was nominated to do the Liebster award last year which you can read here. Well…I have been nominated again! I love this award as it allows you to connect with other bloggers and gives so many fantastic bloggers the exposure they deserve.

Elm’s questions

1. What’s a song that you feel summarises your thoughts right now?

Jessie J – Masterpiece. I’ve got my degree, but I’m still getting to where I want to be in life and working on myself.

2. When was the last time you felt happy and why?

I’ve just got back from a lovely holiday with my family so I feel happy at the moment as I had a relaxing break.

3. Do you like books?

I absolutely love books! I love to just sit down and relax reading a good book.

4. Do you often find yourself thinking about the past, present or future?

Probably a mix of all three, but mostly the future.

5. If you’ve made a difficult decision recently, what have you learned from it?

Hmmmm, probably that everything happens for a reason.

6. If you had to choose between always travelling abroad but never being able to travel in your own country or always travelling in your country but never being able to go abroad, which would you choose?

This was such a tough one! I think I’d choose travelling abroad, as there’s so many places that I could travel to and explore.

7. What’s your least favourite instrument?

Probably the Violin (nothing against Violinists), it’s not really my kind of instrument.

8. Can you cook/bake?

Sort of, but I’m not the best at either haha.

9. Do you get emotional easily?

Yes! I kind of wish I didn’t sometimes.

10. What kinds of posts do you most like writing?

It depends what mood I’m in but I love writing my disability related posts, especially my educational ones.

11. How do you resist negative pressure to do something from others?

I think it’s important to remember that if you don’t want to do something, then you don’t have to. Those that value you and love you for who you are should respect your decision.

Liebster Award

Thank you to the lovely elzthebelz for nominating me for this award, it really means a lot! here are her questions to me:

1. Do you have any siblings?

Ok so most of you will know that my eye condition is Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) which obviously means that I was born very prematurely. I did have a twin but unfortunately she didn’t make it. So i’d say in memory of her, yes I have one sister.

2. What’s your middle name?

Natalie, after my sister.

3. If money wasn’t an issue what would you spend it on?

Concert tickets…I absolutely love going to concerts. Holidays, a new house, driverless car (when they’re available) and holidays.

4. What 3 three things would you like to change about your country?

The perceptions people have on disabled people, make the education system more inclusive for disabled people and probably some policy but I can’t think of one off the top of my head.

5. If you could change into any animal what would it be and why?

I’d love to be a dog, they seem to have such a stress free life.

6. If you could give your 15 year old self 3 bits of advice what would they be?

I love this question! To not care what others think about your disability, to believe in yourself and to be more outgoing.

7. Who’s your favourite music artist right now?

My all time favourite music artist is Jessie J but right now I have two and I can’t decide between them, they are Ellie Drennan and  Lauren Aquilina.

8. What’s the best holiday you’ve ever had and why?

When me and my family went to Menorca after i’d finished my A levels, we had a private villa and I just loved that holiday.

9. What is the first thing you tend to notice about someone?

Their personality.

10. Mountain hideaway/beach house or city townhouse?

This is quite a hard one…maybe a beach house.

11. Favourite smells?

The smell of freshly cooked bread, sented candles and my favourite perfume.

4. I play the flute and used to be in a band.
5. My favourite alcoholic drinks are Archers and lemonade and cocktails.
6. I learnt to swim when I was about 5 years old.

8. If I could be famous for one day, i’d love to be a singer.
9. I wanted to be a music teacher or professional musician for years.
10. I used to hate reading when I was younger but love it now.
11. I literally cannot go a day without listening to music.
